Amazon and Facebook have launched a new widget which connect Amazon users to their facebook profiles. This will give them product suggestions based on their ‘likes’ and based on other types of data that Facebook has stored using the Facebook Platform.
After you connect your account with Facebook, Amazon can even give you gift suggestions for your friends which have a birthday coming up,
Amazon probably deliberately didn’t choose to fully integrate your Facebook account into Amazon, because of critism on other applications in the past which did this.
